You can't win 'em all...
And so the rivalry lives on. Looking for his third consecutive series win against EGPuMa, HerO came up short, 4-2, in the dramatic NASL Season 2 final. The games tested both players abilities in short and long games, and also showed off the random and unforgiving nature of starcraft. This was the case especially for as HerO, the fourth game was decided by just a single unlucky observer loss.

That these two players have much in common has not been a secret, nor have the obvious contrasts between TLAF-Liquid` and EG gone unnoticed. But over the past three weeks, that competition, and the battle between these two players in particular has been elevated to a level that Sc2 has not yet seen. After HuK joined his rival IdrA at EG, the scene has been searching for a new player rivalry to replace it. That search now seems over.

As the 2011 season winds down, the score between PuMa and HerO is dead even. A Dreamhack Championship for one, an NASL championship for the other. Over the past three weeks, these two players have shared a 8-8 record. Who will be emerge as the better of the two in 2012? Can both demonstrate their true skill on the GSL stage and take their rivalry back to Korea? Right now, there are more questions than answers, but one thing is pretty certain. HerO is the most handsome of the two.
Also, there's a ton more epic starcraft to be played.
