Perhaps only after EG, Mousesports is a team that every Liquid` fan wants to beat. The European titans have been at the forefront of the scene recently, with an inspired performance in the IPL TAC, and before that they beat TLAF-Liquid` twice in the second season of GCPL. That brings the all-time Sc2 clanwar record between these two teams to 1-2 for Mousesports, and this time around Liquid` will be looking to even up the score.



Overall, these are some pretty even match-ups as both teams have brought out their complete ace line-ups. Sheth is an accomplished ZvZ player, which is actually his best match-up statistically. But biGs is no slouch and has been tearing up the EU ladder recently. His pick-up by Mousesports really seems to have upped his skill, and this is by no means a freebie for Liquid. Next up is a good match-up for the boys in blue, as Zenio with his very good ZvP will take on MaNa and his historically weaker PvZ. While the Polish protoss is an incredible player, Liquid` should be feeling pretty good about this.

It only gets better from here in terms of good match-ups. Two transplanted Europeans; MorroW who is now in Korea squares off against Ret who is now in the US on Bel'Shir Beach. MorroW will be playing TvZ, and while that match-up feels like his worst, it's a dangerous one. He's very liable to put on early pressure with something cheesy, or bust out a strong timing attack. If the game goes late though, MorroW's TvZ has been shown to be overly-passive, while Ret's is dominating, so if it gets there, Ret could take the victory and (maybe?) finish off a sweep. Finally, HerO goes up against ThorZaIN, his longtime nemesis. HerO is fantastic, but this is the one match-up Liquid` is disfavored in; HerO has never beaten the Swedish terran in prominent competition, and that's an issue. With HerO's recent uneven form, it's an additional concern, although we shouldn't take away HerO's clutch win vs Agh in the last match against Quantic. He can still bag wins.

If this goes to an ace, anything can happen. Mousesports is most likely to throw ThorZaIN, but MaNa and MorroW are also probabilities. For Liquid` the choice is clearer cut. While HerO is always a good choice, either Ret or Zenio will fare much better match-up wise against any of Mousesports' aces, all who are better against protoss than zerg.
