Two more rounds remain in the NASTL, and Liquid` is cruising in second place, with a 4-1 record and a +6 differential. Last week, the boys in blue took down league leaders Empire in a seriously exciting series, and tonight, the challenge doesn't get any easier with FXO, who also owns a 4-2 record and is sitting in third.



As the lone GSTL team in the NASTL, Liquid` as known from the beginning that FXO will be a strong opponent. Their line-up is prodigiously talented, including GSL semi-finalst GuMiho, and IPL3 finalist Lucky. Of course, sitting on FXO's bench for this round, but as options for a possible ace match are also players like Leenock and Oz. Overall, playing FXO is a scary prospect.



However, Liquid` has brought out the big guns for the occasion, and the match-ups are pretty solid overall. While Zenio is a definite underdog against GuMiho, (and who isn't these days?) HerO and Sheth should be considered favorites against two of FXO's non-frontline players. The key match will be Ret and Lucky, which will set the tone for the series. Because it's ZvZ, anything can happen, but Ret has been playing a lot of top level games in the match-up recently, and he'll be happy to get a chance at revenge from being knocked out by the Korean at IPL3.

If Liquid` can win against the FXO protoss line and Ret or Zenio can beat one of FXO's headliners, than Liquid` actually may take this comfortably. But against Koreans, nothing is certain, and unfortunately, this could easily go the other way as well. Perhaps the safest prediction is that this will go to an ace match, with all of the potentially epic combinations that would bring! This should be fun. Make sure to watch!
