Some scheduling changes led to the Week Seven EG Masters Cup match between Liquid and ROOT to be aired a day ahead of schedule. We were not made aware of this, and so there was no preview post on TLPro about the match.

However, we're sure as hell going to cover the match, because it was a thrilling Liquid win! The boys in blue took home a 3-1 victory to improve to 5-2 on the season. We're in control of our own destiny in the playoff race, with just four matches to go. If the team keeps playing as it has in the last two weeks, then we'll easily make up for the mediocre results in the last EG MC season!



The games were definitely re-watch worthy. The opener between Sea and MajOr was a long and tenacious TvT. HerO and ViBE's third game rested on a razor's edge. TLO and MaSa staged a spectacular late game fight on Cloud Kingdom. Don't miss the VOD, which is up right now on Twitch.tv!

As noted earlier, the win puts Liquid squarely in the driver's seat for the EG MC playoffs. Coming up are matches against Quantic and RoX.KIS, two teams also in playoff contention. Now is certainly not the time to take our foot off the gas.
