Position Open: UI/UX Designer/Graphics Designer

Put your stamp on Team Liquid by joining our graphics team! We're looking for individuals with the flair and talent to bring something different to our current design team. If you have fresh ideas and the skill to execute them, this is the announcement for you.

We're currently open to applications for one (1) Full-time Web Designer and an open number of Part-time graphic designers. We're interested in learning more about you, so please send your resume, portfolio, and any other examples that might help show off your mad skills! We're looking for individuals who live and breathe design, so we'll be focusing on your portfolio. Needless to say, do your best to impress us!



UI/UX Designer

Reports To: Joshua Flowers, Caleb Anderson
Location: Remote Location




Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of web properties (sites, micro sites, landing pages, etc.)
  • Project manage web-driven projects.
  • Willingness to have additional weekly meetings with staff for progress and updates.
  • Work with teams to understand existing problems.
  • Speak with users to learn more about their needs and concerns.
  • Analyze user research.
  • Work with other members of the design team to define effective design solutions.
  • Solve complex problems by utilizing existing patterns or creating new patterns based on user research and business goals.
  • Design user interaction, user flows, wireframes, and create prototypes when necessary.
  • Present designs to staff and partners for feedback and approval.
  • Lead usability testing efforts to validate design and incorporate improvements.
  • Work with developers to ensure the product is being developed as per the design.
  • Log, track and document processes and developments.


Job Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Ability to work with a team and accept feedback from leadership.
  • Strong design sense with attention to detail.
  • Great organization skills (ie: PS layers, Layer Comps, etc.).
  • Familiarity with current UI and UX design trends.
  • Firm grasp of mobile-oriented design.
  • Encouraged, but not required, to make weekly graphics meetings scheduled for 8AM PT/11AM ET.


Education and Relevant Job Experience

  • Ideally 2 to 4 years of experience in an agency setting.
  • Experience in UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) design and CSS/HTML.*
  • Experience in marketing and information design a plus.


* We have developers who will help our UI/UX Designer.



Graphic Designers

Reports To: Caleb Anderson, Joshua Flowers, Stacey Yamada
Location: Remote Location




Responsibilities

  • Layout and design news and featured posts on teamliquid.com.
  • Create graphics for social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook.)
  • Design full creative suites for player streams, player profiles, and featured posts.
  • Create supporting graphics for articles, marketing materials, sponsor materials, etc.


Job Requirements

  • Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (and possess a Creative Cloud account.)
  • Knowledge of how to prepare files for print, web, and other media.
  • Experience in CSS/HTML a plus.
  • Skills in valued areas (illustration and infographic design) a plus.
  • Available for our weekly meetings every Tuesday, 8AM PT / 11AM ET.
