Our Quake team just got bigger, though this addition looked more like destiny. We have signed Gaven "whaz" Sorensen after his impressive performances with rapha and DaHanG in Quake: Sacrifice.
Our two Quake legends specifically chose whaz to complete our Quake squad after witnessing his talents at the Quake World Championships. We traveled to DreamHack: Denver together and claimed gold, proving that their stamp of approval was well earned. We hope that whaz will learn much from his experienced teammates and create a legacy of his own in Quake Champions.
"I'm very excited to finally be able to announce that I've signed with Team Liquid for Quake Champions as one of their Sacrifice players! I have a lot of respect for the players on this team and ecstatic to be given the opportunity to represent a prestigious organization such as Team Liquid! I'm going to do our best to show we are top contenders at every event we attend in the up and coming 2018 year."
- Gaven "whaz" Sorensen
You can watch whaz and the rest of our Quake team at DreamHack: Winter next weekend, from December 1 to December 4. We will once again have Rogue's winz as our 4th player at the event, and of course we're aiming for the title. Rapha and DaHanG will also be competing in Duel, so watch out for a lot of Quake action during the event.
We would like to thank our Quake fans for cheering on our squad, and we look forward to seeing you in Jönköping. A special thanks goes out to Rogue for being so accommodating and giving us the opportunity to play with winz at Quake events.
