Happy Thanksgiving

November 22 2018

We all look forward to (or dread) Thanksgiving, a time where we get together with relatives we rarely see and spend some quality time together. For many this means hours of travelling on one of the busiest days of the year but we do it anyway for good food and good company. The food is fattening, the parade is dazzling, and it’s the perfect moment to reflect on those we appreciate. It’s also apparently a great day to enjoy eating turkey, as roughly 46 million birds will be consumed which equals out to about 736 million pounds. That is a LOT of turkey.

We’ve seen many changes take place in TL during 2018, with many new faces added to our teams, our staff, and many new fans across all our games. As Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks, we figured now would be a great time to tell our fans how much we appreciate their support, as well as our players across the many games who keep gobbling all the trophies up. We could not be more thankful for the incredible displays of dedication our players have shown us for their craft.

We’d like to thank our players for all the memorable moments they’ve given us this year. Be it making it to Worlds, competing at TI, playing at Blizzcon, fighting at the London Major, or any number of events we’ve been a part of, we are extremely appreciative of all the individuals that give their all under the Liquid banner.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the Team Liquid fans who follow the players and cheer them on. What a journey this year has been, you’ve been with us through all the ups and downs and you always stick with us. Without your support none of this would happen. You guys are what we are most thankful for.

Share with us on twitter what you’re most thankful for during this holiday season.

Happy Thanksgiving!
