Liquid at TI6: Patch 6.88b by the Numbers

August 03 2016

This is it.

The biggest Dota 2 tournament in the world. The richest prize pool in esports. The International 2016.

Last year's winners barely made the cut. Many of the teams involved in 2015 are either floundering or failed to qualify. The finalists from the most recent Major weren't even in attendance last time around. Much has changed in a calendar year, and in fact, much has changed in the last month. After a string of silver medals and glory in Moscow, Liquid is one of the favorites to claim gold.

Have you been wondering what the team has been up to leading up to The International? Liquid has only participated in one other big tournament in this patch before TI6: The Summit 5. Here are some fun and insightful game statistics from that event that showcase some of the team’s most powerful heroes as we prepare for the world’s biggest Dota 2 LAN of the year.

This Dota 2 roster is the strongest that Liquid has ever fielded and they’ve taken the scene by storm. They’ve already had multiple strong finishes this year including a 1st place finish at Epicenter and 2nd place at the Manila Major. Since the last time we saw them play on LAN, the team has had only one thing on their mind: complete and utter domination in Seattle. They are ready to raise the Aegis of the Immortal; are you?
